U.S. Dept. Of Ed Launches Snitch Form For People To Report Schools & Teachers Resisting Trump’s Attacks on Anti-Racism

The U.S. Department of Education has unveiled a contact form for anyone to report schools and teachers who resist their illegal attempts to stop us from supporting students of color and teaching about anti-racism.

You can read their announcement of the form here, and access the actual form here.

Republican Governor Youngkin in Virginia tried the same thing three years ago before he shut it down because they didn’t get any critical responses and a lot of people made submissions making fun of it.

It would be a shame if this one received many of those kind of responses.

You can read more about this new snitch line at The Guardian’s article, Trump administration launches portal for reporting DEI in public schools.

It would be hard to distinguish sincere from frivolous complaints, especially if the complaints were, say, machine generated to cover every single school in the United States. I wonder how hard that would be to do. The portal seems simple enough. enddei.ed.gov

I’ve heard some excellent suggestions of reports to send in, including schools named after people who enslaved others, schools that have banned books & districts who say they will cooperate with ICE
